Quip, a digital messaging platform, has announced a new integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
The supported messaging channels of Quip include Apple Business Chat, Google Business Messages, WhatsApp, SMS/text, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, and more. The Quip-Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration will allow messaging conversations to get recorded automatically as tickets that are attached to contacts in Dynamics 365. It will also help agents making use of Quip interact with customers across the supported channels while viewing relevant Dynamics 365 data.
The Quip-Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration will also allow service agents to update customer information as they interact over digital channels. This integration joins existing integrations for Oracle, Zendesk, and Salesforce.
“Our integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 enables brands to leverage their existing investment in Dynamics 365, while reducing costs and increasing customer satisfaction with asynchronous messaging,” said Mike Myer, CEO and co-founder of Quiq.
Quip acquired Snaps to add marketing messaging and natural language AI in April 2021. It launched conversational commerce payments and conversational surveys in September 2021.
According to Shish Shridhar, global retail lead at Microsoft for Startups, the Quip-Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration is seen by Microsoft as bolstering their recently announced Customer Experience Platform. “Quiq’s integration with Microsoft Customer Experience Platform enables brands worldwide to deploy a customer experience solution they can trust, and easily bring all of their customer conversations across a magnitude of channels without the need for additional tools or the purchase of additional software,” Shridhar said in a statement.
